Work collaboratively with MassArts students to successfully design work that follows the brief given. With the three days given for this project, prioritise time and task among the team successfully and professionally.
Assignment:
There are many qualities which characterise a city like Leeds, and every city area has its own unique personality often influenced by its residents and businesses observing a city area from a vantage point of your choice, you will be tasked with both constructing and creating a narrative, and delivering this narrative in visual form(s) that best present the unique personality of you city area.
Objectives:
This assignment is to investigate your city area by any and all means. To understand what is meant by ‘structure’ in illustration and graphic design and how structure accommodates content; to develop visual form(s) in which your team will build a concept into a narrative structure.
Before coming up with any ideas for the project we all spent the first day getting to know each other by going all around Leeds and taking photos and making notes. Was good to have people who are new to Leeds because first impressions might help us be able to see whats really defining of Leeds.
