SB2 - Initial Idea Burn Experiment

Here is the process of burning the the photos that I collected. The imagery used in secondary imagery, but if successful to the group the final outcome will use primary imagery. Controlling the flam was quite difficult, and to prep for any problems, the tap was left running for safety.

Here is what the photos looked like after burning. This outcome was experimented through different exposures to a flame, creating several different outcomes for the same photo.

Here are some experimental layerings of the photos, this created a really great look as a final image, and explores representing the damaging of layers of skin.

Here is a contact sheet (below) which shows all the imagery collected during this experimentation.

For initial design development, the photos were then taken and used to create several potential poster designs. The design of the poster will highlight the fact if one damages their skin (through the effect of the burning on the cheek) does one really love the skin they are in. It will act as an outcome that highlights the damage skin bleaching does to ones skin. Further harm of skin bleaching will be explained through additional type on the poster design.
