Brief 1 - Rationale development

After the Final Crit, it became clear on which design was most successful out of my five final designs. The Bold Triangular design was easy to read, sharp, and followed the three principles of the initial aims of the logotype.

Alienating - Through experimental composition design of the A, lowering the cross bar to the baseline, the overall look becomes unfamiliar to the social norm. Like figure 2 on my Blog 'Virtual Reality Logo Analysis' the A becomes a symbol due to it's unfamiliarity almost becoming a hieroglyph.

Technically Advanced - Through the sharp stems and Apex, the logotype is clean and sharp connoting the sharp technological mentality behind the company and product. The san serif logotype is clean and with even kerning represents the control and advanced professionalism.

Timeless -  Compared to the hairline logotypes previously created and shown in the final crit, this  final logotype is a simplistic and timeless design, its functional and easy to read and with the experimentation of the A adds a form of uniqueness.

* UPDATE*
After completing the final outcome, I only became aware of the exact resemblance it has to the Adobe Logo, although the width and height of my design is less equilateral compared to Adobe, the similarities are uncanny. I will now further develop my design and interpret the critique given in my latest crit to improve my outcome.
