Brief 1 - Sketches following Crit

More development sketches approaching ideas given from the Crit, taking into account use of shapes and lines.
The first image looks at the use of line to create a form of depth, this design was further developed as peers believed this design looked confident. The use of lines were used to connote a form of layering and depth, which further represents the layering of reality, both real and virtual. To develop, this design will be created digitally, and experimentation of how many lines will be used will help push the design process further.

The second page of sketches originated from the idea of using shapes, bold shapes to juxtapose the VR product to old arcade logotype designs. The idea of using arcade game inspired logotypes personally looses professionality for the overall look, loosing the highly advanced connotation. Development of this idea involved cutting up the shapes of the lettering and form a combination of shape and lines - this outcome looks to cluttered and confusing, especially for a long word that is not well known to target audience members.
