Initial ideas were shared by Jasmine, these concepts were very different from each other; so the strongest ideas were chosen and further explored in sketches. The strongest of the ideas was generating a face out of a logo so this will be explored.
Jasmines work is rough and raw, the behind the scenes of gritty nights in Leeds and an exploration of rebellious youth. The grittiness of her work needs to translate into her branding, something that creates a mood and isn’t clean and simplistic. Her work is heavily portraits and facial expressions. One prominent aspect that is used in a majority of her work is graffiti; either in the foreground or background it plays a part in her portfolio. The use of graffiti inspired a majority of initial concepts and sketches, forming a ‘tag’ like style.
