SB8 - Production

- I was invited to have my piece exhibted in the We Belong Here exhibition, this will be a great way to see if the outcome works well in the way that I have printed and mounted it. 

Finalising the design, the poster was uploaded to social media, and submitted to the The Asian Woman Festival. The piece was chosen to be exhibited at the ‘We Belong Here’ exhibition held in Leeds. Exhibiting in Leeds helped confirm whether the outcome was successful and attracted spectators. The piece will be printed in  film posters dimensions and framed in an A1 frame. The frame will both protect and bring attention to the piece - the white colour will highlight the high contrast colours used in the poster design. The stock used to print will be gloss to further mimic the film poster aesthetic.

The exhibition went really well and I received lovely comments on my work - was really nice to see people fully look at the design and read into the details. This shows that the design is readable and eye catching from a far to invite viewers closer in to read the details of the poster.
