A1 Poster Development

Above show my initial ideas created digitally in Illustrator, the use of the black frame represents the frame of a lens linking to the exhibition. The combination of the sphere and the frame linking the visual and physical process of taking a photo. The combination of typefaces played with emphasising the names to bring attention to the name of the exhibition. The use of the tate typeface brings clear connections to the tate modern gallery. And the use of Helvetica, creates a natural finish and adds a form of strong presence and structure.

Above show the 3 designs that proved more successful when asking peers, the experimentation of composition and scale proved intriguing and eye catching. To further develop the final outcome I went to the Designers League to ask who thought which design was best composed for the exhibition.

I did encounter a comment that challenged the use of hyphenating the word radical and the overall composition of the design. The response I gave helped develop a strong reasoning behind the design in both layout, and composition.

Above show comments about the work that was created.
