For this project, I want to look at ways I can create a final outcome, without heavily relying on comic design approaches already taken, and secondary imagery. I want to be able to create something unique and celebratory, still encapsulating the context of the event.
Above are experimental design I created through collaging:
The Star Wars clone design links to the large franchise and heavily celebrated film that would most definitely be celebrated at the Thought Bubble event. This design encapsulates the celebration of dressing up, and becoming something more. The design is further pushed with the use of letraset letters, this adds a worn out form of texture that ties in well with the theme of the pictures, and is further developed through the use of halftone pattern.
The portrait design, looks at the more illustrative approach I could take towards this course, linking to the celebration of the sequential art form. The initial idea also looks at a rough way the celebration of the ten year anniversary could be placed in a simplistic way.
