Composition and colour developmental ideas. 

For the final outcome for the design,  I wanted the colours used in the poster to be eye catching and energetic, to encapsulate the form of celebration and then colourful design of sequential art.

Below are the four final composition designs that I chose, I decided to go for the bottom left design as It links both designs together through the use of line, highlighting the reference to the reading pattern technique and also abbreviated TB in the mask. Although the clipping mask effect lost detail to the mask, I feel this actually further adds to the intrigue of the poster as there's more to the eye. The prominent choice of magenta was used to link to the logo's colour.

For the screen printing process, the outcome will include three layers, black for the outlining, magenta layer for the base and purple for the extra detail and tone.
