When looking at the design work created by paul Jackson, I was really amazed the level of depth and experimentation he went through to develop this book. To see what one can do with just a sheet of paper really amazed me, and reminded me the ways in which something so mundane can be take and created into something visually and technically interesting.
Inspired from Paul Jackson, I wanted to create an intricate spherical like sculpture that would represent an eye. This will link to the name of the exhibition and further add obscurity to exhibition itself.
By taking the images in black and white, the high contrast accentuates the sharp refined shape for the sculpture.
The way in which the sculpture was put together was rather messy, and resulted in the tip of the joint paper exposing the double sided tape, the poster design could improve the overall look by covering the joint of the paper, probably refining the overall look and sculpture.
