Instead of using secondary imagery, I wanted to look at forming my own form of primary imagery to use towards the final outcome. This design task would also allow me to identify the use of layering to create tone in desings, being the reason why I separated the outline of the drawing and the colours tone on two different sheeting of tracing paper; also reminding of the traditional print process I will have to use to create my final outcome.
I further played around with the use of these outcomes by scanning them onto acetate and playing around with layering on to of different textures and colours of paper.
Although these designs are visually interesting with the use of layering and textures being brought through, this outcome would be hard to attain with screen printing, and doesn't show a clear contextual link to the thought bubble event.
